Mr. Paviolitis’s consulting practice focuses on financial markets litigation and regulatory matters. His areas of expertise include: municipal bonds, auction rate securities, customs and practices in the fixed income markets, including sales practices and appropriate markups.
Charlie Paviolitis has over 38 years of experience in the fixed income markets, with particular emphasis on municipal securities. Over the course of his career, Mr. Paviolitis has been involved in all facets of the municipal bond industry, including retail sales, retail and institutional trading, risk management, short-term variable rate securities and public finance.
Up until January 2015, Charlie was an Executive Director at Incapital, LLC, where he was responsible for trading secondary positions in municipal bonds. Previously, he spent more than a decade in senior management at UBS, where he was responsible for oversight of the firm’s municipal bond trading, as well as risk management for the firm’s municipal bond department. Prior to UBS, Mr. Paviolitis was an Executive Vice President at Everen Securities, where he managed the firm’s municipal bond department nationwide, overseeing all trading and sales.
